Como criamos para mejorar la raza:
 
La teoría se basa en tres puntos fundamentales, como los vértices de un triangulo ABC.
A) El criadero.
B) El hábitat.
C) Las exposiciones.

El camino  a seguir A>B>C>A. Se crían A (criadero) se desarrollan B (hábitat) van a C (exposiciones) y los mejores ejemplares vuelven a A (criadero).

A) EL CRIADERO: Esta construidos con instalaciones especialmente diseñadas para la raza, con amplias correderas y caniles bien ventilados con pisos especiales de piedra compactada, luego arena, y por ultimo una capa de piedras pequeñas del rio, esto nos da una superficie totalmente absorbente,  no abrasiva y muy higiénica.

Contamos con ejemplares cuyos padres, abuelos y bisabuelos, ya han sido seleccionados para reproducción por criadores muy importantes, y con muchos años trabajando por la raza, como POTTERDALE, DIOTIMA, RANMAR, THYMEWINDS, BRENRIGAS, STRATHEARNS, REBAÑO ESCOCES, BURLESQUE. Estos perros premiados en todas las exposiciones del mundo, son los antepasados de nuestros actuales ejemplares.

Consideramos validas las tres formas de criar; en línea, en forma abierta o cerrada. Buscando fundamentalmente obtener ejemplares que cumplan con el standar de la raza.
También usamos el método de estimulación neurológica temprana, y el de socialización, muy importantes para superar las primeras situaciones de stress.

B) EL HABITAT O MEDIO AMBIENTE: Alpa Corral, se encuentra a Latitud: 32° 41' Sur - Longitud: 64° 44' Oeste , a 1000mts. sobre el nivel del mar, en la provincia de CORDOBA, REPUBLICA ARGENTINA, es una zona montañosa con ríos y vegetación de montaña, el clima tiene noches muy frías y frecuentes nevadas, su principal actividad es la cría de ganado ovino y vacuno de montaña, como así también el turismo.

No negamos la teoría mecanicista de la vida, la que nos dice que la reproducción, es solamente el resultado de la memoria genética de las células, y esto se repite mecánicamente e invariablemente, la complementamos para mejorar la raza con la teoría de la evolución de las especies(Charles Darwin), gran naturalista y excelente observador de la adaptación de las especies al medio ambiente( los pinzones de Las Galápagos).

Especialmente sobre este tema trabajamos con nuestros Bearded Collies. Tenemos una geografía muy similar a la de su tierra natal, tierras altas donde ellos se originaron, se formaron y se adaptaron, nos imaginamos su belleza original, abundante pelaje para soportar noches muy frías, buena masa muscular por arriar ganado en las montañas, excelente tamaño de sus manos y patas por lo irregular del terreno, mente ágil para poder interpretar el pedido de su pastor, en resumen un perro física y síquicamente equilibrado.
Los Beardies de Alpa Corral tienen muchas actividades que realizar durante el día, y el gran objetivos de sus criadores es que se PARESCAN A SUS REMOTOS ANTEPASADOS.

C) LAS EXPOSICIONES: Es el lugar donde nos toman examen, donde son evaluados, y donde nos damos cuenta si estamos en el camino correcto. Es el lugar donde podemos ver a los perros en toda su belleza y actitud. La pista es fundamental para el mejoramiento de la raza.

LOS CACHORROS:

Son seleccionados en tres categorías:
1)CACHORROS PARA MASCOTAS O PETS: Se entregan a los 60 días, con su correspondiente documentación, libreta sanitaria y certificado clínico veterinario.

2) CACHORROS CLASIFICADOS: Se entregan a los 60 días, con su correspondiente documentación, libreta sanitaria y certificado clínico veterinario. Pueden ser potencialmente ejemplares para exposición.

3) CACHORROS DE PISTA: Se entregan a partir de los 120 días, tienen 8 clases con handlers, y como mínimo haber participado en tres exposiciones. Se entregan con documentación, libreta sanitaria, certificado clínico veterinario, y el resultado de su participación en las exposiciones otorgado por FCA.

How we raise dogs to enhance breeds:
The theory is based on three main points, such as the vertices of a triangle ABC.

A) THE BREEDING PLACE (kennel)
B) THE HABITAT
C) THE SHOWS

The course of action is as follows: A>B>C>A. They are raised A (kennel), they develop B (habitat), they attend C (shows) and finally the best cases go back to A (kennel).

A) THE BREEDING PLACE (kennel). Are built on the basis of facilities specially designed for the target breed, having wide running areas and well ventilated kennels. Floors are specially made, first of compacted stone, then sand and finally a layer of small river pebbles. This offers a completely non abrasive, absorbent and hygienic surface.

We hold specimens whose parents, grandparents and great grandparents have already been featured for reproduction by very important breeders who have long worked for breeds such as: POTTERDALE, DIOTIMA, RANMAR, THYMEWINDS, BRENRIGAS, STRATHEARNS, SCOTISH SHEPHERD, BURLESQUE. These dogs, holding awards in all world shows, are the ancestors of our present cases.
We support the three forms of breeding: on line breeding, open breeding and closed breeding. In this way we search mainly for cases that comply with the standards of the breed.
We also use the early neurologic stimulation method and the socialization method which are very important to overcome early stress situations.

B)THE HABITAT OR ENVIRONMENT: Alpa Corral is located 32° 41' Sur - Longitud: 64° 44' West Longitude, at 1000 meters above sea level, in the province of CORDOBA, ARGENTINE REPUBLIC, which is a mountain area with rivers and mountain vegetation. As regards the weather, it may be very cold at night and there may also snow. Its main activity is based on mountain cattle and sheep livestock, as well as tourism.

We don’t deny the mechanists’ life theory, which states that reproduction is only the result of the genetic memory of cells, which repeats mechanically and regularly; moreover, we complement it to enhance breeds according to the theory of evolution of species (Charles Darwin); great naturalist and excellent observer of species adaptation to environment (Galápagos pinzones).
We particularly work on this topic with our Bearded Collies. Our geographic area is very similar to that of their native land; high lands where they originated, developed and adapted. We imagine this breed’s original beauty, with abundant fur to stand very cold nights, good muscle structure, which is good for working with cattle in the mountains, excellent hand and feet size, suitable for the irregular land, and an active mind to understand their shepherd’s order. In sum a physically and psychologically well balanced dog.
The Alpa Corral Beardies develop a good number of activities during the day and the main goal of their breeders is that they RESEMBLE THEIR EARLY ANCESTORS.

C)THE SHOWS: Is the location where we are examined, where the dogs are evaluated and where we realize whether we are on the right track. It is the place where we can watch the dogs at their highest beauty and attitude. The track is essential for the enhancement of breeds.

THE PUPPIES:
Are featured into three categories.

1) PET PUPPIES: Are delivered at 60 days of birth, with corresponding legal documents, health notebook, and clinical certificate signed by a veterinary doctor.

2) CLASSIFIED PUPPIES: Are delivered after 60 days of birth. They may be potential show cases.

3) TRACK PUPPIES: Are delivered after 120 days of birth, having at least 8 handler sessions and having participated, at least, in three shows. They are provided with their corresponding legal documents, health notebook, clinical certificate signed by a veterinary doctor, and the results of their show participations granted by FCA.
